Apo ti Santa's tragic death
Julian Carlo Miguel (Amiel) Alcantara, a 10 year old Ateneo de Manila University fourth grader got fatally hit by a van on the parking lot of the school in Katipunan, Quezon City last Feb. 24. Amiel is the son of Melanie and Jose Pepe Alcantara, grandson of the late Judge Fernando Alcantara of Santa.
The driver of the van Ma. Theresa Torres has been in custody and would be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and physical injury. Amiel was with his nanny Tata Suarez who was treated for minor injuries in the ankle but another brother, sister and a friend were unharmed. Google search for details.

late Judge Dinong Alcantara , the older brother of my late
father, Mario Alcantara. Please pray for his soul,he's too young to
join our Almighty Father but He may have better plans for him.
We pray that he join his Lolos,Lolas,cousin in Heaven and that
they're all with the angels singing beautiful songs together.

I thought all along that Amiel Alcantara could be your relative and sure he is! My daughter Carol forwarded all the newslink about this tragedy because she was deeply saddened of the loss of such a young boy, he being a schoolmate of Cushie, my grandson. Rest assured we had our prayers during those trying times.(I only opened the website lately.) We should be comforted that he is now among the angels...
