Inspite of this, we are wishing you all a Prosperous New Year !!!
Wishes from Romy and Lydia Galinato
It is with deep sorrow to hear that Roland passed away last Dec. 30. My family and I - four kids and wife Gryselle Nartatez-Manzano - extend our deepest sympathy to all of you. I was a classmate of Roland in the 5th and 6th grades at Santa Central School in 1948-1950. A week before his death I inquired from Lydia Galinato of your Dad's whereabout which was a coincidence that he died at a time that I remember him after 60 years since we met. I pray for the repose of his soul. Sincerely, Ben Manzano of Seattle, WA, ph 425 806 1767,

Mike & I are very sorry to here of your brother's passing away. But for sure he is now with the angels & saints garnering all the joys of being with the Almighty. I'm pretty sure that he's looking over you and guiding you in this life. Our condolence.
Sincerely, Mike & Perla Abramowitz
I doubt if you know me; there are 9 years between me and my Manong Roland. When I was old enough to remember, he was already attending high school at Hillcrest in Quezon City. My most vivid memories were of his coming home for the holidays on the Velca (?) or the Phil. Rabbit at dawn and waking us up with "I'm a Fool to Want You" and co. which, I suppose, explains my and my younger brothers' lifetime preference for Sinatra.
Manong came back and enrolled at SHS. Just before graduation, he got so angry when he saw their annual. He destryed his copy. They had solicited enough, he shouted, for quality paper and printing. I didn't understand his frustration. I thought the yearbook was quite pretty, even dainty, with the onion skin between the bond paper pages. A few years later, I did realize that he had every reason to feel the way he did then.
Brigitte, my sister-in-law, became a full-time housewife right after the wedding. Their daughter, Michelle, helps with the gastronomy business of her Chinese husband's family, and Rolando Jr. works for a cruise liner that plies Europe and the Americas.
They're not online, so I say "thank you very much" from all of us.

Manong was your best man and your best friend. He'll be with us in January, 2011. See you then.
Thanks for the pictures.
love,
Rexit
On behalf of Manong's family, my brother Rudy(Boy) and our youngest Rey(Baby), thank you very much.
I haven't talked to Baby since Manong died, but I'm sure Nandy Yasay, who visits the "Annak..." website regularly, has told him about your message and the General's.
Hope you have recovered from your own loss.
Sincerely,
Rexit
Thank you. It was so nice seeing you again. We'll have more time together during our next reunion, I'm sure.
I'm about to discover the last of Victoria's secrets. That's some woman!

Rexit
Thanks for the kind words. I'm sorry to hear that Tata Ikko has left us too. He and Nana Pacing used to visit Mamang quite often; they were Compadre and Comadre to each other.
Your Manang Rexit
Thank you. My husband and I enjoyed very much being with you and your elegant son.
