Teresita Bandonil 

     

Teresita Bandonil's greatest legacy is etched in the minds and hearts of young men and women whose future she helped shape through her dedication, tutorship and direction.  She is a firm believer that "teaching is the most noble of all professions".

Primary ----- Sacuyya Community School and Basug Com. School

Intermediate ----- Santa Central School (with honors)

Secondary ----- Santa High School (with honors)

College-----Don Mariano Marcos State University (Ilocos Norte Normal School)  Bachelor of Science In Elementary Education

Master of Arts - --- Northern Christian College 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE:

After graduation, she joined the Olongapo City Teaching Staff for a duration of five years.  In 1963, she transferred to Santa District and taught in various schools until she retired in 1999.

1.  Calungbuyan Community School ----- handled a combination class III & IV.

2.  Santa Central School ----- handled an experimental class in Filipino

3.  Mabilbila Community School ----- Head Teacher.  During her incumbency, the school started to develop and emerge.

4.  Banaoang Community School ----- Principal I.  

With Vice Mayor Jesus Bueno as PTCA President, they converted the typhoon damaged Spanish building into a permanent stage, office and Learning Resource Center.   Closer ties between teachers and PTCA evolved which generated numerous projects for the school.

5.  Santa Central School ----- Principal I

During her incumbency, remediation for low achievers was improved thus improving the performance level of the students.

6. Cathechist ----- St. Catherine de Alexandria Parish, Santa

7.  Member of the CORE TEAM --- they are engaged in conducting seminars

8.  President of the Children of Mary

She is currently enjoying her retirement and single blessedness.
